Lowe’s Heroes Team up with Alta Vista Gardens
Each year Lowe's Heroes volunteer program helps to improve the communities where Lowe’s employees work and live. Together, each store team identifies a community improvement project that will make a difference in their community. This year the Vista and Oceanside Lowe’s Heroes have chosen to team up to build our new Sunrise Pavilion patio area in the Birds, Bugs & Butterflies Children’s Garden.
Lowe’s donated the materials and their dedicated employees came together on December 19th to build the latest addition to our Children’s Garden. Garden president Todd Cure’ and vice president Bryan Morse met last week with City officials to review the proposed patio location and discussed issues related to orchestrating this project.
Volunteers graded the pad for the patio in preparation for the installation. On Saturday Lowe's employess worked in concert with Garden volunteers to assemble the parts and build this patio and seat wall.
